Sangria Light
We really like Sangria at our house. Some of the recipes (here) are much more alcoholic that this one. This sangria is nicely light.
Here are a couple of fruit flavor options, one is a white sangria and one is red.
I like to use re-freezable ice cubes, so the ice doesn’t water it down.
White Sangria Ingredients:
1 bottle dry white wine
1 bottle Blood Orange Italian Soda
or
1 liter San Pellegrino Orange Sparkling Water or similar
16 oz frozen peaches or mango (no sugar added)
Red Sangria Ingredients:
1 bottle dry red wine
1 bottle Pomegrante Italian Soda
or
1 liter San Pellegrino Pomegranate & Black Currant Sparkling Water or similar
16 oz frozen cherries (no sugar added)
Instructions:
In a 1 gallon pitcher, add the frozen fruit. Pour the wine over the fruit and allow to sit out for an hour.
Add the sparkling water or soda. Stir gently.
Add re-freezable ice cubes if wanted.
