Welcome to the Holt kitchens. Our families have always loved to cook and food has been central to family celebrations.
Years ago we decided to gather family recipes in a book and came up with the title "Holt Cuisine". Our first family cookbook came out in 1992. It was a thin volume with a purple cover and only 66 pages. Some of the recipes were pretty old fashioned as was fitting cooking styles of 30 years ago.
It grew from there and the last printed edition came out in 2005 and was 262 pages long. Due to costs and to save trees, in 2017 we came out with the first online cookbook. We kept some of the traditional recipes but added updates at the bottom telling how we make it now. Many of our recipes are now vegetarian and some are vegan or have instructions to make them vegan. We enjoy exploring new products that come on the market.
