Krystalyn’s Favorite Bow Lasagna
When she was little this was Krystalyn’s traditional birthday supper. The bow pasta was her favorite shape, so that is what we used.
It is still a really simple meal. It uses layering similar to lasagna, but because it is short pasta it is much easier to eat, especially for kids.
Bows were the favorite shape, but any shape will work. I’m partial to Cavatappi and Ditalini, but the choices are endless. This is also a great thing to do with seasonal pasta shapes. Sometimes those shapes are less durable, so this casserole application is more gentle.
