Classic Green Bean Casserole
This is a popular pot-luck dinner item and a staple for most people’s holiday menus. I remember if from my childhood but not something Mom would make. 1 1/2 quart casserole, sprayed with non-stick spray
350°
Ingredients:
24 oz frozen, french cut green beans
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/8 tsp pepper
1 can french fried onions, divided
red and green pepper strips
Instructions:
Mix first three ingredients and 1/2 can of onions in the casserole dish. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Top with remaining onions and bake for 5 more minutes. Garnish with pepper strips.
