Hawaiian Party Sliders
Emily loves to make these when they are bringing dishes to friend’s house and they are always well received. They need to be served with plenty of napkins though.
Yield: 12 Sliders
Time: 30 mins
Preheat oven to 350°
Ingredients:
1 pk King's Hawaiian Original Sweet Dinner Rolls
1 lb Deli ham, fresh sliced is best
8 oz Shredded Swiss cheese
1 ½ stk Butter
3 tbl dijon honey mustard
1 ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Small onion minced
2 tsp poppy seeds (optional)
Instructions:
In sauce pan melt butter and saute onions lightly (1-2 min). Add mustard, Worcestershire, and poppy seeds (if desired) and simmer till onions are soft.
Cut entire pack of rolls in half (keeping the tops and bottoms joined to each other if you can).
Spray a 9x13 casserole dish with non-stick spray and place bottom buns in. Brush or spoon ½ onion mixture onto the buns.
Layer ham and cheese, and cover with top buns. Brush remaining onion mixture over top buns and cover dish. Bake for 15-20 min, cut sliders apart for serving.
