Barbeque Little Smokies
This is a popular item at all parties, and so simple. I almost always have these two ingredients around, so I can always fix these even when I am completely unprepared.
Yield: 8-10 appetizer servings
Time: 1 hour (or 30 minutes using the microwave method )
Special Equipment: Crockpot
Ingredients:
1 lb Lil Smokies or equivalent precooked small breakfast sausage
1 cup Barbeque Sauce - can be mild or spicy to taste
Instructions:
Place smokies and sauce into crockpot and warm for 1 hour.
Alternate: if you are in a hurry place the crockery liner from the crockpot in the microwave to quickly warm the smokies and sauce. If your crockpot doesn’t have an all crockery liner or the liner is not removable, place the smokies and sauce in a glass dish with a lid and microwave until warm through. Pour mixture into crockpot for serving.
