Buttermilk Pancakes
This is one of Chris’s favorite pancake recipes. He says it is better than the box! He remembers having it often as a kid.
Yields: 24-5” pancakes
Ingredients:
3 cup all-purpose flour
3 cup buttermilk*
3 tbs sugar
3 eggs*
3 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup butter, melted
1½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
Instructions:
Combine dry and wet ingredients in separate bowls until ready to cook. Pour wet into dry and stir until just combined (batter will be lumpy). Pour batter by ¼ cupfuls onto heated griddle. Cook until bubbles on surface begin to pop. Turn and cook until golden.
*For best results, have these ingredients at room temperature.
