Karla’s Bread
Karla says, “We have always enjoyed this bread - it's great for french bread or toasted with butter and jam. I have done a braid or just let it rise on a baking stone and then bake the free formed loaf. If you do the braid it's fabulous with a glaze made with powdered sugar, a bit of cream and almond flavoring. Frost braid and then sprinkle sliced almonds on top. Traditionally the Swede's here eat it with cheddar cheese.”
